I didn't realize that Chicago constructed the first green roof on a state building. Was that City Hall? I know that Wal-Mart, as of last year, was supposed to build a "green" store within the city limits. That's pretty exciting - but still a weak illusion to "appear to care" about this country and the people in it. Do the lower prices really matter when people can barely afford to take care of themselves? Anyway, sounds like a great trip. I'm glad everyone is trying new things and sharing memorable experiences.
